A Life, In Chapters
My Story
From a rookie procurement clerk to a Supply Chain expert with 20 years of experience — here's the road I've walked, chapter by chapter.
Childhood
Growing up in a modest civil servant family.
I grew up in a family that wasn’t well-off, where every dollar was carefully weighed. But it was that very scarcity that taught me my first lesson about the value of preparation and planning — the foundation of my entire Procurement career.
My mother always said: “Buy the right thing, at the right price, at the right time” — a phrase that sounds simple but turned out to be the core philosophy of the entire Procurement profession.
Education
No prestigious degree, just endless curiosity.
I wasn’t the top student in my class. I was curious about logistics, negotiation, behavioral psychology, and how global supply chains operate — things that seemed to have nothing to do with each other.
It took me years to realize: that unusual combination of interests was my strength, not my weakness.
First Job
A junior procurement clerk at a manufacturing plant.
Before any of this, I started at the lowest position in the Procurement department — processing orders, calling suppliers, and learning how to actually read a contract.
Nothing glamorous. Just long phone calls, urgent deadline emails, and gradually, confidence.
Career Journey
From procurement clerk to global supply chain expert.
I gave up the safety of a fixed office role to take on harder projects — negotiating with international suppliers, rebuilding an entire sourcing strategy for a company in the middle of a supply chain crisis.
There was no single “big break” moment. Just showing up day after day, project after project, until it became a real career.
Family
The people who taught me what truly matters.
My work has never been separate from the people I love. The lessons my family taught me about persistence, humor, and always showing up for each other are exactly what I try to bring into everything I do.
No matter how big the company gets, that simple philosophy has never left me.
Life After 40
Proof that traditional rules were made to be broken.
From leading large-scale supply chain restructuring projects to being invited to speak at industry conferences — every milestone taught me the same thing.
It’s never too late to become the person you want to be.
Future Dreams
Building a life you love is never truly finished.
I’m still curious. Still figuring things out in real time. My mission now is the same as before: to help you believe that anything can be learned, and to give you the tools to prove it to yourself.
There’s still so much I want to build, teach, and learn.
The Retirement Journey
I don't think I'll ever fully retire — and I'm at peace with that.
What I’m learning now is how to make more room for freedom, flexibility, and joy — without losing the drive that got me here.
Whatever the next chapter looks like, I want to walk into it with the same curiosity I had on my very first day.
To Be Continued
The next chapter is still being written.
I have no idea what's coming next — and that's the best part. If you want to keep reading along, come find me here.
